U.S. companies are racing to stockpile goods ahead of Trump Administration tariffs set to take effect later this month, as shown by a 228% increase in Days of Inventory on Hand (DIOH) between February and April 2025, according to data from supply chain tech provider Deposco.

Georgia-based Desposco says its measurement is derived from actual commerce transactions occurring on its supply chain management platform, representing approximately 1.2% of all U.S. Holiday Season e-commerce volume, and thus providing statistically significant insights into broader supply chain behaviors.
