Feature, a sneaker and clothing boutique in Las Vegas, faced challenges in scaling its footwear fulfillment management due to using five different, inadequate inventory systems. Issues like slow inventory syncing, inaccurate counts, and delayed support from a system located in a different timezone led to overselling and high chargebacks. Realizing the need for a more robust solution, Feature turned to Deposco, recommended by UPS, to streamline their operations. Despite a tight one-month timeline, Deposco was seamlessly implemented on the same day as the old system's shutdown, even amidst COVID-19 restrictions.
Deposco provided precise product syncing for over 98,000 SKUs, which was a significant improvement for Feature. The new system also allowed the team to shift their focus from fixing problems to setting strategic goals, such as running pre-sales and allocating inventory more efficiently. One of Feature's main objectives is to become first to market with products, aiming to list and sell within 24-48 hours.
