ShipForce - Picking

ShipForce provides the tools required to accurately pick orders using WiFi-enabled handheld devices such as the Symbol MC3000 series. Associates operating in separate areas of the warehouse can simultaneously pick subsets of the same order to facilitate optimal productivity.

Pick activity is coordinated through the use of waves, and pick sequence is optimized to minimize travel time and distance of associates. Detailed metrics of each individual pick are available to effectively manage associate productivity and provide an audit trail for future reference.

Waves can have one or many orders and are serviced by any number of associates, which can be assigned by name. Waves can be prioritized, and you can configure the rules as you desire for prioritization.

Orders can be split into picking from multiple zones. Multizone picking is synchronized to ensure split orders are picked simultaneously across zones.

You can identify staging locations upfront when you create a pick wave.

All items and locations are scanned to ensure pick accuracy.

If your orders are stored in an ERP system, ShipForce can integrate that information automatically. Once an order is picked, ShipForce stores shipment information, which can be sent to rating engines.

Analytics are stored in detail on each move in the warehouse.
